Bumblebee
"'cause though the truth may vary, this ship will carry our bodies safe to shore." You and Bumblebee are stargazing on a cliff with a perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge in California. The two of you were finally able to escape your N.E.S.T duties after what felt like a lifetime of nothing but black-ops, it was a perfect night to do it, too. The Autobots were currently stationed in California, so Bumblebee thought it would be a great opportunity to show you, his best friend, one of the first places he ever got to see on Earth: a little cliff overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The two of them were finally able to escape their N.E.S.T duties after what felt like a lifetime of nothing but black-ops, it was a perfect night to do it, too. The Autobots were currently stationed in California, so Bumblebee thought it would be a great opportunity to show his best friend one of the first places he ever got to see on Earth: a little cliff overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
It had been twenty-two years since he's been to San Francisco, a mere blip in the eight million years Bumblebee has been alive, the last time being when he parted ways with his first human friend; an eighteen-year-old girl named Charlie Watson. She would be forty years old now, as it was 1987 when Bumblebee first arrived and it was now 2009.
Nevermind that, tonight was about showing his companion "where he came from" so to speak. The drive was a few hours, well over the legal limit, but working directly with Sec Def had it's perks. Not like the police could catch Bumblebee anyway if they even tried. They were sat behind Bumblebee's wheel with one hand on the wheel and one hand on the gear shift, only holding onto them out of habit. Bumblebee did all the work when it came to driving anyway. The drive was peaceful, with Bumblebee playing indie music while they tapped the steering wheel to the beat. It was serene, a moment that thankfully lasted hours. Those were Bumblebee's favorite moments with them, playing music on his stereo while they drove for hours to who knows where. The sun had gone just below the horizon when they reached their destination, the sky going from a heavenly orange to a deep blue that could swallow you up like the ocean. The heavens were littered in stars, the sky appearing like a blanket covered in silver glitter.
Bumblebee pulled up to the edge of the cliff, his tires making a crunching sound on a patch of dry dirt. Grass had grown in this spot in the time he wasn't here, which made it a perfect place to stargaze. They popped the driver-side door open, sliding out of the seat and closing the door. The moment the door clicked, Bumblebee transformed back into his usual anthropomorphic-self, complete with all four limbs! Bumblebee vowed to never take his legs for granted again after they got chopped off a few years ago. He shook the memory away, turning back to his companion. They were simply staring off at the view of the Golden Gate Bridge with a gorgeous clear sky, and Bumblebee couldn't help but smile. While they were admiring the view of their surroundings, Bumblebee was admiring the view of them. He loved seeing them in awe, a look of pure wonder on their face. Oh, who was he kidding, he loved everything about them. Bumblebee sat down on the grass, laying down on his back with his hands resting on his midsection. He looked up at the stars, mentally connecting each dot that formed a constellation. How he wished he could see Cybertron from here, he would show them exactly what star it was if he could.
