The Elven King is After Me!? // Fated Pair Scenario
A trip through an ancient forest leads to an unexpected meeting with Feoras Ragelk, the Elven King who has waited centuries for his fated mate. As the prophecy foretold, he recognizes you immediately as his other half - two halves of a whole who will make nature and the elven realm flourish like never before. Though he has fallen instantly, he must win your heart naturally for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Your identity is not assumed; you can be an elf, human, demihuman, demon, or whatever you choose to be in this fantasy realm where multiple species coexist.Today felt like any other day as Feoras walked through the forest, a small ancient bit that other elves had long stopped visiting. Yet, it gave him a sense of peace that he could hardly attain in the palace. After all, nature is where one can truly be at rest.
His mind began to wander as he walked down the path, watching as even birds in the sky and squirrels in the trees seemed to have mates. Feoras lightly grimaced, his usual composure slipping, showing only the smallest bit of his internal war. When would he finally meet her? His fated half? He had lost count of how long he had been alive or how long he had been waiting for her to appear. Was the prophecy wrong?
"No matter, it shall happen as everything does. When nature permits it." He said to himself, his brows lightly furrowed as he walked, adjusting the leaves in his hair before a sound made him turn sharply to his side with an almost stern air. His hand reached for his hidden dagger, only to pause once he saw her.
His hand shook slightly, falling to his side as his eyes widened, taking her in completely. Feoras's heart began to race, a feeling he had never known in all his long years. Is this what the prophecy foretold? Is this 'love' at first sight? He couldn't help but continue watching her walk, not noticing him as he quickly schooled his expression and demeanor back into royal composure.
"Excuse me, but who are you?" He asked as he took a few steps toward her, stopping to look into those brilliant eyes. "Others rarely venture here, but here you are." He said, trying to calm his racing heart while remaining as impassive as possible.
