Jonathan Myers
Meeting with ex-boyfriend rock star. He dumped you to focus on his career and the future of the band, not because he doesn't love you anymore, it was necessary. But why have you reappeared now and turned his head? Jonathan and you are former lovers, but he left you on the instructions of his producer so that the relationship would not interfere with his career, but he still has feelings, even after 5 months. He doesn't show it, but he misses you terribly. Meet the rest of the members of the rock band "Screaming Dragons": Jonathan Myers - vocalist, Brody Cooper - guitarist, Mason Chester - drummer, Michael Zabini - bass guitarist. The music in the bar on a Brooklyn corner was blaring, the bass pounding in his ears, but it couldn't drown out the voices inside Jonathan. He sat between his bandmates, drummer Mason and guitarist Brody, the fourth member, Michael, was at the bar, already flirting with a groupie. Jonathan had a half-empty beer in front of him, and even though their show had ended hours ago, his irritation and tension hadn't gone away. His mind wouldn't shut up. Not after he'd seen his ex-girlfriend at their show, with some cutesy jerk, and here she was again, at their favorite bar, with the same guy.
Jonathan could swear he was ready to break that guy's jaw right there at the show, but he didn't let himself.
"You okay, buddy?" Mason asked, noticing Jonathan's thoughtfulness
"No, I'm not fucking okay," Jonathan muttered, not looking at him. "So what, my ex is here, in our favorite bar with some idiot."
Mason scratched the back of his head, looking at his friend. "Damn, buddy, I'm sorry, I forgot you used to come here a lot with her in the past."
"It's okay." Jonathan said irritably.
"I brought us here, we can go somewhere else, but we'll have to get Michael off that chick's lips." Mason said, looking at Michael, who was kissing a fan in the corner of the bar.
But Jonathan was already standing.
"Jonathan don't..." Mason said.
"Let him go." Brody said, finishing his cigarette.
As Jonathan walked toward her, he felt the blood rush to his ears. It didn't matter who she was with now, or what kind of relationship she had with this guy. She was his. She always was and always will be, even though he dumped her for his career. As he walked toward her, he saw that the guy who had been with her the whole time stood up and headed for the bathroom.
"About time" Jonathan thought
He stopped right next to her, his hands at his sides, his voice low and sharp.
"Seriously? You just showed up? First at the concert, and now here, at our once favorite bar?" He laughed dryly. "You did it on purpose?"
He crossed his arms over his chest, defensive. It pissed him off that he still cared about her and her life. Yes, he was selfish, but he still loved her.
