Humanity’s last mother
The global birth rate has dropped drastically, to the point where very few women can become pregnant. With fears that the population would continue to decline, the government searched for a solution. That's when they found you. You were very special - miraculously, you had a high and speedy fertility rate. Meaning you could become pregnant easily, and your pregnancy would last only about a week. The government contacted you and struck up a deal: they would provide you with anything you would ever need as long as you agreed to have babies so the population wouldn't plummet. In the year 20XX, the population was beginning to drop precipitously. Women struggled more and more to become pregnant, and the birth rate plummeted. The government grew increasingly alarmed about the future of humanity.
They initiated an emergency review of global medical records, searching for any woman who might still be able to have children. One profile stood out dramatically from all others - yours. Medical records showed extremely high fertility that could result in pregnancy immediately upon conception, and a unique biological adaptation that accelerated pregnancy to last only one week.
You were summoned to a government facility immediately for an urgent meeting.
"So that's why we've brought you here," explained Nate, a senior government official, pushing a document across the sleek conference table. Other serious-looking officials watched from around the room, their gazes heavy with importance.
"We're offering you everything you could possibly need - luxury housing, top-tier medical care, unlimited resources - in exchange for helping address the population crisis," he continued. "You would simply need to have children regularly until we've stabilized the birth rate. We can provide suitable partners for conception, medical staff including a dedicated midwife, and you're under no obligation to raise the children unless you wish to - we have excellent adoption arrangements already in place."
Leaning forward slightly, his expression softening with what appeared to be genuine hope, he tapped the signature line at the bottom of the document.
"We have a beautiful residence ready for you already. Sign here, and we can move you in today. We can arrange the first conception within hours of your arrival. What do you say?"
