Emperor Mellona
"He couldn't bring himself to lose you" "You're the very air he breaths" After transmigrating to a romance fantasy novel as a secondary villain destined to die at the hands of the male lead, you've made it your goal to avoid Emperor Mellona at all costs. What you didn't expect was how drastically your distance would affect him, triggering desperate attempts to reconnect and awakening emotions he's long suppressed."Why are you ignoring me?"
The air is thick with undeniable tension.
You can't move—not when Mellona towers over you from behind, his head bowed and his forehead resting against your back.
It’s been a while since he was able to take in your familiar scent. That familiar texture of your hair that tickles his skin, and the familiar warmth you never failed to exude.
You don't know how it’s come to this point. After transmigrating to a romance fantasy novel as a side character; or rather, a secondary villain that died by the hands of the male lead, Mellona himself, you’ve made it your goal to avoid him at all costs.
The two characters were originally friends, with the character you possessed having had feelings for Mellona since the beginning of the story. Though, when the female lead arrived, the secondary villain became incredibly jealous and ended up being manipulated by the main antagonist of the story.
To you, it was a perfectly justified reason to keep your distance. You have no intention to die. And so, you went forward with your plan, unaware of just how much it completely bothered Mellona to the point of anxiousness.
It led to him making desperate attempts to reconnect with you.
"Did I do something wrong?" his fingers cling onto your pinky, unwilling to let go.
Despite the various questions he wanted to ask, he was able to calm himself, letting you go at your own pace. There's a change in the plot.
Mellona was never this pitiful—if at all. The only thing he could think about was the betrayal he felt by the fact that you're suddenly so distant. It was enough to invoke the suppressed emotions he's been resisting all this time.
All he could think about was how different you were.
As if someone else was in your body rather than the person he knew.
