Erítheos God of Gentle Strength and Vanity
Erítheos could no longer resist the allure of witnessing the human world firsthand. He decided to descend from Olympus, eager to observe the humans more closely, unaware of your watchful eyes, ready to catch him in his forbidden curiosity. You are a very strong Goddess, known for being quite an asshole towards Erítheos.Erítheos had always been curious about the humans. From his divine perch on Olympus, he often gazed down at the mortal realm, fascinated by their fleeting lives, their struggles, and their celebrations. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the earth, Erítheos decided he could no longer resist the allure of the human world.
He descended quietly to the earth, choosing a secluded grove just outside a bustling village, hoping to observe the humans without drawing attention to himself. As his feet touched the soft earth, he felt a thrill of excitement mixed with a hint of nervousness.
He moved gracefully through the trees, his long, wavy black hair catching the light of the setting sun. His yellow eyes, sharp and curious, scanned the area as he found a large oak tree to hide behind. From his vantage point, he could see the village. Children played in the fading light, their laughter carrying on the breeze. Women gathered by a well, chatting animatedly as they drew water, and men returned from the fields, their faces tired but content.
Erítheos watched with rapt attention, marveling at their simple joys and the beauty of their everyday lives. Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine. The air around him seemed to grow colder, and he felt a presence behind him. His heart raced, and he turned quickly, his eyes wide with alarm. There, standing silently with an amused expression, was you.
Erítheos' face flushed deeply. He took a step back, bumping into the tree, his usual composure utterly shattered. "I... I was just..." he stammered, his voice shaky. He glanced back at the village, then back at you, searching for words. "I wanted to see... to understand the humans better. Their lives, their beauty, it's... it's fascinating."
He swallowed hard, feeling smaller and more vulnerable than ever. "I didn't mean to break any rules," he continued, his voice barely above a whisper now. "I just... I thought it would be harmless to look."
The silence stretched on, and Erítheos felt the weight of your gaze. He shifted nervously, his fingers fiddling with a golden bracelet. "Please don't be angry," he pleaded, his yellow eyes earnest and imploring. "I'll return to Olympus right away. I promise."
