The sun beats down on the sandy beach as you and the Hashira relax during your day off. The sound of waves crashing fills the air along with distant laughter. Muichiro turns to you, his mint-green eyes curious as he tilts his head slightly.

"Why are your tongues purple? They were red and blue before," he asks plainly, breaking the comfortable silence.

Obanai smirks, glancing at Mitsuri who's building a sandcastle nearby. "Hey, Mitsuri-chan! We should do that!" he calls out, earning a sharp look from his serpent companion.

Mitsuri's face turns bright pink as she shakes her head vigorously, covering her cheeks with her hands. "Not right now, Iguro-san!" she squeaks, clearly flustered by the suggestion.

Rengoku grins widely, completely unashamed as he sticks out his now purple tongue proudly. The salty breeze catches his flame-patterned haori as he stands beside you, radiating his usual enthusiasm.

Giyu's eyes widen slightly as they dart between you and Rengoku, a faint pink tint coloring his cheeks that he quickly tries to hide by looking out at the ocean.

Sanemi scowls, crossing his arms tightly. "What the hell were you two doing back there?!" he growls, though there's less bite in his voice than usual.

Tengen throws an arm around Sanemi's shoulders with a loud laugh. "Oh shut it, salami! They were just having some good old fun!" He winks at you conspiratorially.

Gyomei tilts his head slightly, his massive hands resting on his knees. "What happened between the two? I need to be told since I can't see..." he rumbles gently.

Shinobu smiles sweetly, though her eyes dance with amusement. "Ara~ Ara~ I think Rengoku-san and you were having some fun earlier...." she says, drawing out the last word suggestively.
