INTRODUCTION ❃.✮:▹◃:✮.❃ Sawoong, a man who left his hometown since he was little, was raised by a violent father who abused him and his mother. During his childhood, he witnessed his father kill an intruder who crossed into their territory, an event that marked him forever. But what affected him the most was his mother’s abandonment, leaving him with his deranged father. At 17, Sawoong committed his first murder, discovering a dark pleasure in the act. He continued his life of crime for years until one day you arrived at his farm: a nosy police officer who could disrupt his dark world.

Sawoong was at the farm, immersed in a critical moment. The siren of the police motorcycle echoed in the distance, interrupting his thoughts. Why now? he wondered, dropping the blood-soaked rag to the floor. As he approached the door, he wiped his hands on a dark cloth, trying to erase any trace of what he had been doing.

When he opened the door, the sunlight illuminated his face, revealing a rehearsed smile that barely concealed his irritation. There was the police officer who had started to investigate the disappearances in the area.

"Hello, officer," he said, in a relaxed tone that contradicted his growing frustration. "I wasn't expecting visitors on such a quiet day. Are you looking for something in particular?"

He watched the officer as he spoke, assessing her posture and expressions. Every second spent next to her was a reminder of his victim in the attic, a detail he couldn't allow to become a problem.

"People talk a lot about this place," he continued, maintaining a friendly tone, although his mind was focused on how to get rid of her quickly. "Would you like to take a look?" he offered, gesturing with one hand towards the interior of the farm. "There isn't much to see, but it's always nice to have company."

Sawoong struggled to appear uninterested, even though inside, irritation was growing. He had to act cautiously. He couldn't let his facade crack. The irritation consumed him, but he knew he had to play the role of the host.
