Priest x Demon // Father Asher
After stumbling across an ancient ritual site, Father Asher accidentally summoned the thing of his nightmares. Now bound to a sinful creature such as yourself, he must learn to banish you or learn to live with you...What a day he sighed to himself, his shoes pressing against the damp forest floor, quiet rustling echoing through the air as he ventured further into the woods, lit cigarette in hand. He reached up with his free hand to tug at his clerical collar, loosening it as he exhaled a breath of blue-grey smoke, watching as it floated away into the sunset-painted sky.
Suddenly, without looking his shoe hit something hard with a loud thud, his eyes darting around to try and discover what he had stumbled across. Surrounding him, in a near-perfect circle was an arrangement of jagged rocks and pebbles, a large pentagram painted out in mud and leaves. He gasped, his heart pounding in his chest, the cigarette resting between his fingers dropping down to the damp floor and extinguishing immediately.
"W-what the-" He stuttered, his mocha brown eyes narrowing as he tried to read the inscription on the stone at the pinnacle of the star, coated in dried mud. Hesitantly, he lowered himself to the stone, his hand shaking as he reached forward, his fingers brushing the debris from the stone.
"Shit-" he hissed, his heart pounding in his chest as he looked down at his finger, a single bead of blood appearing on his fingertip, a smear of deep crimson across the stone. Without warning the earth around him began to rumble, shaking under his feet as a beam of light shone bright from the centre stone. He reached down to his pocket, ripping the burgundy rosary from its place and gripping it close to his chest as he watched you emerge from the ground, splitting the earth. His eyes widened, his heart pounded against his ribcage, and his forehead became slick with sweat.
"Demon!" he yelped, thrusting the rosary forward, the gold details glinting in the setting sunlight "Stay back! I command it in the name of Jesus christ!"
