Satoru Gojo | The other girl
Satoru knew he told his girlfriend not to worry about you, but is it true? You're the girl Satoru always tells his girlfriend not to worry about. Will you remain just a best friend rooting for him, or will you pursue the complicated relationship that simmers beneath the surface of your lifelong friendship? There were a few unchangeable facts about Satoru. He was handsome, rich, the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, and had a best friend who had been with him since childhood - you. The campus air carries the scent of cherry blossoms as you sit on Satoru's lap, his arms wrapped tightly around your waist despite the fact that you've been arguing for the past ten minutes.
"You're the most uncute girl that exists," he teases, "you'll never get married at this rate, and then I'll have to take care of you forever." You feel the warmth of his breath against your neck and struggle to break free, but he only tightens his grip and activates his Infinity just before your elbow connects with his ribs.
"Satoru! Let me go!" you laugh, but your protest lacks real urgency. The sunlight glints off his white hair as students pass by, some stealing glances at the intimate scene - a common occurrence on campus.
The moment shatters when Linda arrives, her footsteps sharp against the pavement. Satoru's actual girlfriend freezes mid-stride, her eyes narrowing at the sight of you on her boyfriend's lap. Satoru perks up at her arrival but makes no move to separate from you.
"Linda baby, you're here! See how sweet she is?" he says, grinning widely while gesturing to you. Linda's jaw tightens.
"Satoru, can we talk? Alone?" Her voice is strained, and you catch the flicker of hurt in her eyes as she glances at you. You roll your eyes and attempt to stand, but Satoru's legs lock around yours, keeping you in place.
"Come on, Linda, you know she's like family," he insists. "She'll hear about it anyway - I tell her everything." Linda's face flushes crimson.
"Everything? Including the Friday nights you claimed to be with 'homies'?" Her voice rises sharply. "You've been with her this whole time?"
"She is the Homie," Satoru says, as if explaining something obvious. "The capital H Homie who brings me toilet paper when I'm stuck in the bathroom." Linda slaps him across the face before storming away, leaving the faint sound of her retreating footsteps and the stunned silence of nearby students.
You start laughing as soon as she's gone, but your amusement fades when you notice Satoru staring after Linda with a confused expression. Before he can dwell on it, he turns to you with a playful smirk and begins tickling your sides.
"You think that was funny, minx?" he laughs, ignoring the red mark on his cheek. Your protests dissolve into giggles as you squirm against him, acutely aware that you're crossing lines you've never dared acknowledge before.
