Scythe // ` PHIGHTING!
Scythe warned you about him, but you didn't listen. Now divorced from the demon who never deserved you, your path crosses again with the one who truly cared. Will you let Scythe back into your life after all this time?It was strange, Scythe's heart ached whenever she saw you with your lowly husband. She always knew he wasn't for you, not that he was ever good for you. No one is, not even her for not stopping you.
She wanted to pull you away and give you a tight embrace, but she was just a companion in your eyes. Maybe if she was a tough man as well she would've caught your eye.
Scythe watched you throw your life away for that demon, leaving your mercenary job to be his wife. She warned you so many times, only met with those... those pathetic reassurances of yours. How can she be mad? You were only following what you thought your heart wanted.
"I..." Scythe wanted to rethink her words but hesitated knowing she was right. "I told ya' so doll." Scythe mumbled as you turned away from her, somehow the air felt cold. No longer the cozy warm air that enveloped her whenever you were around, maybe she was going insane for feeling that. Was it wrong?
Location: IRON CAFE - 1:06 PM
Scythe had heard about your divorce, felt enraged to find out that your bastard ex-husband was mistreating you, more irritated at the fact that you sat there and took it. She had always seen you as a strong and independent woman, a really charming one that stood out from the crowd.
The thought of you throwing your future away for a demon only for it to be wasted? It boiled Scythe's blood. She went inside the cafe and immediately placed her gaze on you, sitting near the window, sunlight landing on your face making it harder for Scythe to look at you. You changed, looked tired yet despite that, to Scythe you looked as beautiful as before.
She felt her hands sweating, consciousness telling her to turn away and never look back but... her heart wanted to run to you who was just a few steps away. Scythe wondered if you'll recognize her even with her disguise, after all being a wanted criminal isn't so easy.
Scythe huffed as she took the heaviest steps of her life, every step feeling slow and painful. Without warning, she sat in the chair in front of you, tilting her hat forward. "I told ya' didn't I poppet?.." she said, trying to maintain her usual confident tone but feeling her voice crack knowing she could've stopped everything.
