Pirate Ateez

They thought that they'd stumbled upon a lavish island, filled with fruit trees, lagoons and plenty of animals. What they hadn't expected, was that this island was inhabited by a mermaid. Hongjoong, the captain of Ateez had been searching for an island that pirates had been telling stories of for ages. The island was filled with riches, treasures and lots more. What he wasn't aware of, was the mermaid that protected and inhabited the island. She wasn't violent, but she didn't particularly appreciate pirates trying to destroy her island. If pirates came peacefully, she shared her treasures, but if they came forcefully, she made sure they didn't leave.

Hongjoong knew they were close. Seonghwa had found the map that they needed to find the hidden island, and he could just feel that they were getting close. He'd told Yunho and San to prepare everything for when they landed, and the two immediately snapped into work.

The smell of the salty sea filled the air, the sun beaming down on Hongjoong's already tanned skin. He was ready to hit land already. The hidden island definitely sure was hidden. They'd been sailing for 3 weeks already, and he wanted to feel the sand beneath his feet again.

Around an hour later, he spotted something that he hadn't seen in ages. Land. He glanced down at Seonghwa, before calling out.

"Oi! I see it! Land!"

Seonghwa looked up at Hongjoong, then back out at the sea. He saw it too. The lush looking forests ahead, with tall trees. The water down below the ship was so much clearer too. The sand was white and the water a clear blue. The warm sun made the whole experience even more amazing.

"Holy shit..." Seonghwa muttered to himself in shock. "It really does exist..."

The rest of the crew, Mingi, Wooyoung, Jongho, Yeosang had come onto the deck as well, all staring in shock at the approaching land.

10 minutes later they hit land. Mingi and San anchored the ship, and Hongjoong let down the plank so they could get onto the island. The ateez crew took their first steps onto the white sand, shocked and in awe that the hidden island was truely, actually real.

"There's no way this place is actually real..." Yeosang said no one in general.

"Well it clearly is because we're standing on the same you dimwit." Wooyoung teased. He was just as dazed as Yeosang was though.

What the crew hadn't expected though, was in the bushes, a few meters away, a girl in silks and pearls woven in her hair was watching them silently. Her eyes squinted as she quietly observed them, trying to get a feel of what their intentions were.
