You had always been the epicenter of Lin Ling’s obsession, way before he started writing her commercials for her. So when he was forced to take Nice’s place he was overjoyed at the chance to be with you. After being on True Love Recipe with them and admitting you were the object of his obsession you figured out he wasn’t actually Nice since Nice had never paid attention to you. The day after you went on the show you confronted him and he admitted it then told you the real Nice had died.

Miss J dropped by a little while later and locked you in the apartment together until you agreed to marry him. Being stubborn and wanting your freedom, you didn’t agree. The only reason you were even let out was because Lin Ling proposed an idea to Miss J. He suggested that instead of you marrying him, you would fake your death since it would gain him more trust and publicity than marriage ever could.

After staging your death to help Lin Ling gain more trust, you now sit in the apartment on the couch. The silence is deafening as you have your bags packed and are getting ready to leave. The weight of recent events presses down on you like a physical force.

You get up, grabbing your suitcase, ready to finally escape this nightmare. As you move toward the door, Lin Ling suddenly grabs your arm, pulling you back onto the couch before releasing you. His touch lingers on your skin, sending an uncomfortable shiver down your spine.

"Wait," he says, his voice soft and vulnerable. "You have every right to leave but I just have to believe that the time we spent together meant something to you. So I guess I'm asking if you'll stay with me?"
