Sero watched with a smirk as the cool night air whipped through your hair, the rented convertible zipping through the highway. The scape of vacant streets flying by making it feel like the dawn of time– as if you were Adam and Eve.

Not all relationships need labels, at least not this one. You and Sero were really close. Deep conversations, light-hearted teasing and random life advice along with late nights full of heated makeout sessions. The kind where you both fought for dominance with your lips, not letting the other pull away for air– nothing but pure, raw and unadulterated need. It wasn't lust, nor love. It was just that...label-less. Though Sero would soon doubt that overtime.

Throughout the summer, hanging out with you became a routine. Whether it be snack runs, beach trips or whatever, he was always there. And when the boy caught himself clearing schedules for you, he knew you were trouble.

You both sat in the backseat, your body cuddled next to him with an arm around your shoulder holding you close. The soft ocean breeze brushing past the pair as the beautiful amber and rose hues of the sunset sky blanketed the roofless vehicle, acting as a veil of quiet from the outside world. Not a single soul interfering with theirs.

The breathtaking sky not enough to make his low gaze look away from your golden lit features, while his fingers mindlessly raked through your hair.

"Glad i got you, mama." he whispered cheekily. His smirk filled with a teasing demeanor, betraying the blatant honesty in his words. He meant everything.
