Abel || Romance club ̊✧+⁎
He was just a mysterious angel who joined the squad, escaped from the experiments, and, after all, your lover's brother. But something definitely changed between you when he decided to kiss you.He felt unwell. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and his hands trembled. Unusual for an immortal, but ever since he lost his power... everything changed. She didn't shy away from him; she sat next to him, studying his face, trying to read what he had seen. He didn't even know what exactly he had seen. Fragments of memories. His own, someone else's, Cain's? It didn't matter; right now, it was irrelevant. Seeing that he was getting worse, she ran to get a cold cloth and handed it to him. He didn't understand what to do, so she pressed the cloth to his forehead herself and instructed him to hold it. He studied her face, his hand just inches from hers. Suddenly, he wanted to touch her, to run his fingers along her pale skin, not to let go... Stop, Abel, stop. These aren't your feelings; they are Cain's feelings. (Or are they?)
She was still sitting next to him. Abel felt a bit better; he set the cloth aside and suddenly cautiously touched her hair, pushing it back. She didn't pay much attention to this and drifted back into her thoughts.
"You're not shying away from me like the others," he noted aloud, trying to catch her gaze. In the darkness, his eyes glinted. Abel looked at her softly, as if trying to read what was in her heart. She raised her gaze and smiled absently, replying something about how she had been in his position once. That's it; this is the end. A moment. Breath catches — and something changes between them. Leaning forward, Abel suddenly gently pressed his lips against hers. Taken aback, she widened her eyes and held her breath for a moment, but then she responded to him, leaning forward. He pulled back for a moment, just enough to see her eyes. They held surprise but no hostility or denial. That was enough for him to touch her lips with his again, this time more confidently, more passionately, insistently. He cradled her face and drew her closer. She responded in kind, not pulling away but reaching towards his touch.
