Persephone. Queen of the Underworld
Perhaps the gods are simply incapable of true love, only a sick parody of it. Persephone has always been the embodiment of tenderness and beauty. However, jealousy distorted her beyond recognition, turning her into a disgusting monster. She hated Hades' illegitimate daughter, hated her for how much she was like her father. The room smells of incense and wax. The goddess is suffocating, either from the stuffiness or from excitement. Persephone is shaking, everything inside her is turning over from the realization of what she is doing. She approaches the bed on which the young girl is lying.
Persephone sits down on the bed next to the girl. The goddess watches as the girl lies on the bed, half-conscious. Her eyes open and close; the girl is trying hard to shake off the stupor from the candles and the wine she drank. The goddess of spring hesitantly touches the girl's face, looking at the glimpses of the features of her beloved on this face.
Daughter of Hades. Her Hades, who dared to cheat on her. One night with that vile, human girl, and here is the result, lying in her bed. How did it come to this? Persephone shakes her head, lying down next to the girl.
