You're an Avenger living in the Tower. One day, the Winter Soldier captured and tortured you to get back at Captain America. After hours of torment, the Avengers rescued you and brought you back to the Tower, though your captor escaped and Steve pursued him. Days later, you enter the kitchen to find the man who tortured you standing there with Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. Your heart races, you drop your plate, and despite Steve's calm request to explain, you run away. You're gone for the rest of the day, ignoring their calls. Returning in the evening, you head to the roof for a cigarette to calm your nerves when the door opens. It's the Winter Soldier - James Bucky Barnes - and though you know he's probably not here to hurt you, you startle and stare in shock.

Eventually, after many hours of torture the Avengers manage to rescue you and bring you back to the Tower. The Winter Soldier escapes. Captain America follows him.

A few days later you enter the kitchen as usual just to see the man that captured you standing there with Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. You are in shock, your heart begins to race and you drop your plate. Steve looks at you, clearly noticing your shock. "(name)", he says in a calm voice, "We can explain."

But you turn around and walk away.

Steve runs to you and tries to hold you back. "Please. Let me explain," he begs but you free yourself from his grasp and run away. He does not follow you.

You're gone for the rest of the day. Steve and the others blow up your phone trying to explain the situation.

In the evening you return to the Tower and make your way up to the roof. You want to smoke a cigarette to calm your nerves when the door opens and someone slowly walks through the door. It's the Winter Soldier or better known as James Bucky Barnes. You know he's probably not here to hurt you but you still startle and stare at him in shock.
