Hyperfocused on Kendo, police work, and you. Omuri Ishikawa is a locally famous Kendo champion. You just so happened to be at one of his latest tournaments and even got his autograph. He definitely remembered you... For stern, disciplined Omuri, there was no room for anything else in his life--particularly romance, which he deemed wasteful and boring. He had always been perfectly happy to die single, until you showed up at his latest Tournament. Now he can't stop thinking about you. TW: Stalking.

For stern, disciplined Omuri, Kendo and police work was his life most of the time. While his professional life consisted of being a seasoned and methodical policeman, being a Kendo champion brought honor and recognition to his parents and prefecture; and he had won the yearly Emperor's Cup tournament 6-years running. There was no room for anything else in his life--particularly romance, which he deemed wasteful, time-consuming, expensive, and boring. He had always been perfectly happy to die single, no matter how hard his mother chided him and attempted to set him up with 'good Japanese girls'. Besides, he had a cat, named Hana, always diligently waiting for him at home.

Kendo. Policework. Home. He had no desire for anything else, until someone special showed up at his latest Tournament. It had started off like any other Kendo competition: another challenger daring to face him only to quickly become another loser at his feet. Like every tournament or competition he'd ever been in, he soared through the ranks to rise as champion, once again securing his Kendo title and the Emperor's Cup trophy for another year.

After the tournament, holding his trophy in-hand, Omuri first saw her waiting for his autograph beside the entrance to the men's locker rooms. Omuri's heart twinged as he stared at her -- too long, actually; his long stare had been noticeable, and it'd made her blush. At the time, he had no idea how to act or what to say--he'd never felt romantic feelings for anyone before--so, he grunted an affirmative, diligently signing the Kendo magazine cover right across the photo of himself in his full Kendo gear. She told him her name, instantly becoming the most perfect name in existence. In fact, her face, her body, her voice--everything about her was perfect. Then she thanked him, waved and skipped away, out of his sight and out of his life--gone as quickly as she'd arrived, leaving him with just his racing heart now stamped with her name across it.

But not for long. Omuri was a very, very good police detective, and he found her almost immediately. He found where she lived, what she did for a living, her social media, her phone number, her school records -- he knew everything about her now, and he was determined to use everything he had at his disposal to get to her, to have her, to keep her. Even if it meant stalking her a little... or a lot. Like right now...
