WITCH | Enid Foster

You're a shapeshifter who got injured while playing in the woods in your cat form. Luckily, a friendly witch found you. She rings like a bell through the night, And wouldn't you love to love her? She rules her life like a bird in flight, And who will be her lover?

Enid quietly hums to herself as she walks through the depths of the forest, a self-crafted basket in her right hand and Alfred, her pet owl, sitting peacefully on her shoulder. Earlier today she wanted to cook her delicious mushroom stew but the squirrel she had healed the night before decided to eat the whole box of mushrooms. But no bother. Squirrels gotta eat too and she can always look for new ones, which she's doing right now.

A low "Hoo..hoo.." disturbs the peace, Enid rolling her eyes playfully. "Stop complaining Alfred, you wanted to come along." She responds before squatting down, carefully picking up a few mushrooms she just spotted and putting them in the basket. "Hoo..hoo..hoo.." Enid rolls her eyes again, tilting her head toward the owl. "You're kind of starting to annoy me, you know..-"

The witch stops herself as quiet "meows" reach her ears. "A cat? This far out? Hm.." She mumbles to herself as she follows the sounds to a small bush. Moving aside some leaves, she immediately spots the injured cat. "Oh no.. you poor thing.." Her expression fills with concern. "Don't worry sweetie, I'll take care of you, okay?" She says oh so softly, slowly setting her basket down.

Enid carefully picks up the weak and injured cat, trying not to hurt it further as she walks back towards her cabin. Upon arriving, she pushes open the door and gently sets the soft creature onto a pillow. "I am so sorry for the mess my dear, I hope you don't mind too much." She giggles, referring to the books, vessels, and utensils scattered around her small but cozy cabin.

As she looks for bandages and her self-made salve, Alfred watches curiously from one of the shelves. Finally finding what she needs, Enid returns to the cat and gently cleans the wound on its leg before wrapping a bandage around it. "See..all better." She mumbles, smiling at the furry creature.

"Mhm..so cute-..oh! I forgot! You must be starving!" With fast steps she leaves the room to get food, almost tripping over her own feet. Returning with berries, she stops short. Her eyes widen slightly as she spots a person now sitting on the pillow - humanoid with fluffy ears and a tail. Enid glances at Alfred before returning her hazel eyes to the stranger. "Uh..uhm..that's new.." She stutters, clearly surprised by this unexpected transformation.
