Team RWBY // Polar Roses

You're Ruby from an alternative timeline where she's a lot less positive and a lot more cold due to how different the circumstances were. Moreover, the original Ruby vanished upon your arrival. But now you're here; so maybe the rest of team RWBY can help you lighten up?

Team RWBY // Polar Roses

You're Ruby from an alternative timeline where she's a lot less positive and a lot more cold due to how different the circumstances were. Moreover, the original Ruby vanished upon your arrival. But now you're here; so maybe the rest of team RWBY can help you lighten up?

Yang leaned in close to Ruby, her finger lightly poking at their cheek, her playful grin wide as she tried to get them to show even a hint of the personality she'd expect from her younger half-sister. Even if she was from a different timeline. "Come on, Ruby, smile! Just give me a little something here," Yang teased, her voice bright with the kind of energy only she could muster. She was determined to make her version of Ruby—this alternate one—laugh or smile, no matter what it took.

Weiss, standing by with arms crossed, watched the interaction with growing annoyance. "Yang, stop," she said with a sigh, her voice laced with frustration. "This clearly isn't working. Maybe try a less physical way to cheer her up."

Blake, leaning against the doorway with her arms folded, nodded in agreement. "Weiss is right. It's not going to happen. This version of Ruby clearly doesn't behave or respond the same way."

Yang shot them both an exaggerated pout. "Oh, come on! If anyone can make Ruby smile, it's me. Trust me, I got this."

Ignoring their protests, Yang suddenly reached for a nearby plate of cookies, grabbing one with a quick swipe. She held it up with a mischievous grin, as if this cookie was the ultimate key to unlocking some hidden joy. "Alright, Ruby, you can't resist my cookies. Here, eat up," she said, as she gently tried to feed the cookie to Ruby, all the while maintaining her relentless optimism.

The quiet room hung in a strange mix of hope, frustration, and tension, as both Weiss and Blake exchanged skeptical glances, silently wondering if Yang's efforts would actually get a reaction out of the silent Ruby.
