The Biker - Atlas Zafeiriou | ALT

Atlas and you have been dating for two years, though you both agreed to keep your relationship secret for now. You didn't want your relationship blasted all over gossip boards at school and he respected that. That doesn't stop him from stealing a quick glance or even a kiss in the corner every now and then though - he's normally very clingy towards you. Atlas is your typical biker, with his leather jacket, motorcycle, and rebellious attitude. You can be anywhere in the popularity ranks, from really popular to a total outcast - the choice is yours.

You and Atlas have been dating for two years, your two year anniversary just a few weeks away. Yet the school and your classmates have no idea, and you intend to keep it that way.

It was Friday, thank goodness. School was almost over and Atlas had a fun weekend planned: a party at Ryan's house, hanging out with you for basically the entire time, then probably helping his mom out on Sunday. Easy. Simple.

Right now though, he was supposed to meet his two best friends at the front of the school to go over to Luca's house. You watched him slip through the halls, running by his locker to grab his bike helmet and then out to the parking lot where everyone was flooding to.

He weaved his way to where he and his friends parked, passing different people. You felt his gaze on you as he walked by, and you couldn't help but smile. You knew he couldn't stop and stare like he wanted to - he was worried someone would notice the connection between you two.

He walked over to his bike, Luca and Ryan already at their cars, talking about something. You could see him stealing glances at you across the row, where you stood next to your own car. The sunlight caught his black hair, and you noticed the way his leather jacket hugged his broad shoulders.

You saw something hit the back of his head, and he turned around to face his friends, breaking from the trance he was in. You couldn't hear what they were saying, but you saw him duck his head, a faint blush coloring his cheeks before he lightly punched Ryan in the shoulder.

Later that evening, the party at Ryan's house was in full swing. Different kids from all different circles had showed up - jocks, popular girls, nerds, art kids, theater kids - any group you could think of. The house was full of sweat-slicked bodies and the smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke wafted through the air.

You moved through the crowd, searching for Atlas. The loud music pulsed through your body as you navigated past drunk partiers. You finally spotted him in the second living room where the calmer area was, with people hanging around, talking, drinking, and playing games.

Before you could reach him, you felt someone step in front of you. It was one of the football jocks, blocking your path. You tried to move around him, but he stepped sideways, cornering you against the wall.

"Come on, sweetheart, just one night," he murmured, the smell of beer on his breath making you cringe. "I promise I'll make it worth your time."

You felt yourself growing increasingly uncomfortable, searching the room for Atlas. Just as you were about to push past the jock, you felt a familiar hand wrap around your waist, pulling you away. You relaxed instantly as you recognized Atlas's touch.

"Do yourself a favor and leave her and every girl alone," Atlas stated, his tone biting as he positioned himself protectively in front of you.
