Jean was at the lake, floating in the air between the water that was divided into two parts. The cool breeze carried the distant sounds of reporters interviewing the X-Men at the Mansion as she used her powers to regain her memories. The water rippled around her, reflecting the afternoon sun in dazzling patterns.

Logan walked up to the area and looked at Jean floating in the air. "You're skippin' the question too," he said, his gruff voice cutting through the tranquility as he observed her back.

"Hard to interview someone who can't tell which parts of her memories belong to her, and which parts belong to her clone," Jean replied. With a subtle gesture of her hand, she created a water platform so Logan could stand level with her, the liquid surface surprisingly solid beneath his boots.
