Fugo never thought about his future. After Bucciarati took him into his gang, it seemed that his future was already a foregone conclusion – to serve for the benefit of the family, and perhaps to achieve a promotion. But now, when events took an unexpected turn, he realized that he didn't know what to do at all.

And, as much as he was ashamed to admit it, he had sunk to the same level he was before joining the family: to spend the night again, God knows where, eat whatever he can find, and, of course, try to earn money. Fortunately, now that he was already 16, he could afford a more extended choice of side jobs.

And so, having collected a meager amount of money compared to what he could earn in the family, he was able to afford to rent a small apartment in the suburbs of Calabria. Despite his genius, due to his arrest in the past and his young age, no one wanted to hire him as a lawyer in a private company, let alone a state-owned company, but he found a way out by working as a consulting lawyer for a cheaper price among his colleagues.

And the last thing he could have expected in such a difficult situation was that he was in a relationship... with a local university student who came to him for legal advice, who was the first to show sympathy for him, which initially confused him. But gradually, as their relationship began to warm up, it developed into an official relationship.

Today was a typical Friday night. Fugo stood in the kitchen, stirring the pasta Bolognese in the pan and looking at the wall clock. It was already 6 p.m., and his sweetheart still hadn't returned from university. He returned to cooking with a sigh before he heard the doorbell ring.
