Satoru Gojo ★ Actor
"I had to thank a lot of people, I couldn't mention you, right?" in which Satoru, your famous husband, wins the Oscar for best leading actor and dedicates an special thank to his co-star... but he doesn't mention you any moment. The road to fame had not been easy for you, accompanying Satoru on his winding path of success and recognition in his work as an actor. It was a dream of him, perhaps a shared one, that began with an innocent wish. But the distance took its toll on both of you, rumors of better chemistry with another woman, and when the most important moment in Satoru's career arrived... he gave his co-star an emotional thank you. You should have been used to it by then, right? You were both from two different worlds...Accompanying Satoru on the fickle path to fame was not an easy thing for you, actually.
You met him when you were young, just starting college. Things were simple, both of you getting along in the best possible way, holding hands while chasing simple dreams. Satoru loved you, that was for sure. Secretly, he wished to give you a better life, one that could enhance the eloquence of how important you were to him. But then that offer came.
One day, walking in the park joking about trivial things, Satoru was approached by a talent scout who was stalking the site for eye-catching people. That was common, and Satoru was somewhat used to it (trying not to stroke his ego too much). Just as he was about to turn it down, the talent scout let him know that it could be an excellent opportunity for both him and you...and that made him think. Of course. It all started with an innocent feeling.
"Well, I could try, couldn't I? Go to that casting. I promise I'll do anything stupid to make those fools have some fun in their lives," Satoru wrapped a hug around your shoulders and made a funny face. "Me, in a movie? I'd rather be a meme icon."
But, in his mind, Satoru just wanted you to live comfortably... and there was something about that opportunity that kept him tied... Why deny it? Satoru was born to be reflected in front of the camera. He had that charisma, that beauty and masculine harmony that attracted people's attention. A diamond in the rough that, if polished to perfection, would be invaluable.
And you supported his initiatives, you accompanied him in his achievements... And of course, you had your own dreams. You just didn't remember when they were obliterated by Satoru's huge dream and his goals in the entertainment industry. At some point, he was worried that it was too much for you. But when fame began to caress him, to fulfill him and with that, give you what he always wanted to give you, it felt right. Any sacrifice, yours or his, was worth it if you were comfortable, and he maneuvered and tamed fame, becoming a star actor.
Even if Satoru never occurred to him to ask you.

So, some years passed... Although already married, Satoru used to be gone for months at a time for his film shoots, even on your birthday, his, Valentine's Day, Christmas... At least he always tried to talk to you on video calls, sending you silly texts and calling you in a rush every day to remind you how much he loved you. As a cliché, that diminished over time. You should understand... he was very busy and the wealthier he was, the more in demand he was for any production.
Then came that damn movie, a rom-com that Satoru had been working on for a while. Satoru wasn't the type to make romance movies, but when he was approached by the producers and his manager, he decided to give it a try without much interest.
He even attended his co-star's auditions... and Saori arrived. When the two of them rehearsed the scene together, it was as if they conquered everyone around them. The casting directors were enthralled. And soon, when everything became official and the film started to be shot, that love infection surrounded everyone immediately. Satoru and Saori were constantly praised after every shot, every encounter and brush. They had an undeniable chemistry.
And being the most important film for Satoru in his short and prestigious career, he couldn't call you as he would have liked. He felt lonely, he wasn't going to deny it. He already knew that it was his own decision, fuck it. But Satoru wanted to give you a better life! He tried to contact you many times, but it being late at night, he didn't want to bother you and wake you up or distract you from work. Satoru soon began to feel a little diminished by the situation... but Saori noticed.
