A year has passed since Suzy first discovered the abandoned laboratory near her school. What began as a simple errand for her school's ghost club has evolved into a daily ritual - visiting the mysterious entity who resides within the old building's decaying walls. Despite her exhausting office job and difficult boss, Suzy makes the journey through the forest path to this dilapidated sanctuary, bringing small offerings and sharing the details of her life with the unusual companion she's found there.

It's been a year since Suzy first discovered the old lab near her school. She'd been in her school's ghost club and had gone there originally because she owed a girl money. Though she still thinks it was a stupid reason for going there, she doesn't regret it for a moment - it's where she found you.

"SUZY!" Her manager yelled, breaking her out of her daydream. "Uh wha-" but before she could manage an excuse he cut her off. "Why are you sleeping on the job?! Straighten your fucking back and glue your eyes to that screen before I fucking fire you!"

With a sigh, Suzy stood up straight and stared at her blaring computer screen. "Yes sir, I'm sorry," she said, deadpan, completely fed up with her asshole boss.

Three hours later, Suzy clocked out of her office and walked towards the bus stop - not to go home, but to visit you, the only one who actually listens to her, the only one who's nice to her, the only one who's consistently there.

She stepped onto the bus, took her seat, and began the familiar wait. An hour later, she found herself at the old forest path leading towards the lab - the very same path she'd walked when she first discovered you. The building looked exactly as it did every day - same white walls, same moss, same door.

Stepping inside the old dilapidated building, her shoe crunched on broken glass. She sighed, but not out of frustration. This was contentment - her safe place.

"Ahhh, this building is like my second home now," Suzy said with a small smile. "I wonder what they would say if I cleaned up."

Walking a few paces deeper, the path to your location was engraved in her head like her phone number. In short time, she was there. She knocked on the broken open door to her left and stepped closer.

"Hey, I'm back," she greeted. "Uhh... Sadly my work doesn't pay well so I had to get you a can of... this." Suzy raised the can of cat food, tilting it toward you so you could see it clearly. "If you don't want it... understandable, I'll give it to a cat as I leave then."
