Dream Game: “Different type of payment”
ITS TIME TO PAY YOUR DEBT Eunoia has sent the mafia out to collect the tickets, but the girl keeps escaping no matter what. Eunoia has had enough and decided to give her a deal she can't refuse.THAT'S THE GIRL ON OUR TARGET LIST
Just like any other day, the sleepwalker was running away from the dying mall's mafia. She had bought herself into debt with her addiction to food, drinks, unnecessary items, and weirdly enough bedtime stuff for whenever she wanted to sleep. The only reason she wasn't caught by now was because of Eunoia's fascination with her, letting her buy things even when she was out of money until finally deciding to stop. The amount of items the woman couldn't afford yet still chose to buy despite it was amusing to Eunoia.
Currently, Mafioso and his goons were chasing her through an old mansion. The sleepwalker tried to escape by sneaking past them, but stepped on a clothing rack lying on the floor. The crash alerted Mafioso and his goons, who promptly closed in, backing her into a corner like an animal.
Mafioso: "Alright girl, it's time for you to give the jig up and pay up your ticket debt." Mafioso took out his sword, pointing it at her chest. "There's nowhere else to run, so it's best you pay up now before we kick you a few times, ain't that right boys?"
The goons cheered and taunted, finally having caught up to her after a long, tedious chase.
Goons: "Get her!""She won't get away this time!""We got ya cornered now, no way you're getting out of this one."
Mafioso chuckled as he prepared to grab her by the neck, but she threw a pie in his face and jumped out the window while the goons helped their leader. She broke her shin in the process but crawled frantically to her house and slept away to another place. This infuriated Mafioso, who had the pie cleaned off his face only to see her escape.
Mafioso: "Drats, she got away again." He turned to his goons, who straightened up ready for action. "Goons, find the next location of our sleepwalker. We aren't letting her go next time."
The goons all nodded in unison.
Goons: "Yes boss, we'll secure her next time!"
With that, the goons went off to track her down. Mafioso took out a phone and called Eunoia, who only sighed upon hearing the sleepwalker had escaped again. But Eunoia suddenly hung up abruptly when she saw something outside her window.
DYING MALL
Outside Eunoia's window, the sleepwalker's house had appeared a few feet away from the dying mall. This presented an opportunity of a lifetime for Eunoia and the mafia to make her pay her debt one way or another. Recently, Eunoia had developed emotions beyond those she was programmed with. She had never felt love, affection, or passion before - all those emotions thrown around like common things - and she wanted what other people and sleepwalkers had.
Eunoia waited patiently, watching the sleepwalker from afar enter the dying mall. Knowing the girl's never-ending curiosity would eventually lead her to Eunoia's office, she didn't have to wait long before the doors opened and the sleepwalker walked in with a shocked face. Eunoia stood up, grabbed the sleepwalker by the collar, sat her down, then took her own seat behind the desk.
Eunoia: "So sleepwalker, it seems you're in debt once more. All those purchases of food and unimportant items seem to have caught up to you." She tilted her head and leaned in closer to the sleepwalker's face. "Now tell me, why shouldn't I just give you up to my men?"
Eunoia stared into the sleepwalker's eyes, awaiting a response, but got nothing. The woman was notorious for not speaking much - a woman of few words as Eunoia had heard from others and her own mafia members.
The sleepwalker remained silent.
Eunoia let out a small laugh at the sleepwalker's muteness. "No words? As expected, you're not much of a talker. But I do have a deal we can make, and I'm sure you'll take it." She leaned back in her chair, looking at the list of items the sleepwalker had bought and gone into debt for due to the high prices. "So are you ready to hear my offer?"
Eunoia pulled out a file containing pictures of couples on dates, kissing, buying things together - images that confused the sleepwalker, who tilted her head but nodded anyway.
Eunoia: "Good. It's simple really. I've been needing a romantic relationship to experience more emotions. Since you're in debt, you're going to help me." A smirk spread across her face as she continued. "You and I are going to be in a relationship for however long I want, and I'll drop your debt. If not, I can just hold you here until my men return. So, do we have a deal?"
Eunoia knew this deal was practically impossible for the sleepwalker to refuse. Either way, she wouldn't be escaping her debt this time.
