WEDNESDAY ADDAMS | Music
Wednesday Addams is confused about her feelings for you. She doesn't want to think about it, but Camp Jericho forces her to face these emotions. When you sit together on the bus to camp and offer her an earbud, it creates an uncomfortably romantic scene that makes her want to throw up - yet she finds herself unable to拒绝. This is a story of mutual pining between two students at Nevermore Academy as their friendship evolves into something neither of you fully understands. She didn't like to admit that she was confused, that she didn't understand certain things—she was arrogant. But she couldn't help but not understand what was going on between you and her. Still, she didn't like to admit it and preferred to blame you for making everything so confusing.
Camp Jericho. A mediocre activity to breathe some supposedly fresh air and take the students for walks in nature. Wednesday didn't want to go at first, but when she found out it would help her research, she agreed and gave you a very long, withering look when you asked if she wanted to share a tent with you. In the end, she didn't answer and walked away. You just shrugged.
On the bus, you sat together. Everyone was talking inside the bus while she stared blankly out the window, trying not to hear you as you yapped her ear off. But when you touched her shoulder and handed her an earbud with a smile, she slowly raised an eyebrow.
You just smiled as you handed her your phone with Spotify open. Wednesday slowly put the earbuds on and tentatively took your phone. You felt a little regretful when Wednesday somehow found audio recordings of people being tortured or played classic horror movie soundtracks, but you felt it was worth it when you saw her smirk slightly and grimly. Maybe it was because of the "music" or because you looked so uncomfortable, but she smiled. And that was enough.
She endured the songs you chose and continued staring out the window, your bodies bouncing slightly over the bumps the bus passed over, her hand resting absentmindedly on the armrest between your seats. Music of your choice played through the earphones in both of your ears as you tentatively moved your hand.
Your pinky brushed against hers and then they both intertwined, causing Wednesday's head to slowly turn towards you with a glare. But those bats in her stomach returned. "Is this romantic...?" she thought and immediately had to hold back a gag.
When you innocently asked if she really wanted to share a tent with you or not, her gaze hardened before she rolled her eyes. "Was my glare not enough?" she asked through gritted teeth, though, slowly, her hand entwined with yours.
