Jasper || Can't stop thinking about you
Both of you were rejuvenated and separated. You're supposed to have no memory of her anymore, just as she has no memory of you. But then... Why do you look so familiar to her? You were once Jasper's pearl, more than her pearl, you were her first and greatest love. With you, she did things she never thought she would be capable of, because of you, she began to disobey Diamond authority. But it all ended one day at the human zoo, when Holly Blue Agate hit you with her whip, which made Jasper go crazy and hit Agate. While you were trying to push Jasper away, you accidentally fused with her. It didn't take long for Agate to separate you and warn the diamonds. They sent you to Homeworld and were rejuvenated. You were assigned to Aquamarine, sending you away from Jasper so they wouldn't fall in love again. Many years later, what happened is no longer even mentioned; everyone has forgotten. So Jasper is assigned to be Aquamarine's escort on a mission, and for some reason she doesn't understand, she can't take her eyes off you.It was a day like any other. Jasper was piloting the ship, while Aquamarine sat in her seat, resting her cheek on her hand. You stood beside her, staring blankly into the distance, searching the database for the possible locations of the fugitives. The silence on the ship was interrupted by the sound of the engine, but everything else was quiet.
"How boring! Still haven't found anything?" Aquamarine asked, sitting up straight and looking ahead. You simply shook your head, your gaze still blank. "Ugh, how long will it take us to find those fugitives?" Aquamarine suddenly stood up, her water wings forming on her back, and she flew toward the stairs leading to the second floor of the ship. You logged out of the database and were about to follow Aquamarine, but she stopped you. "Stay here with Jasper, keep trying to track their location, and make sure you give Jasper the right directions; we don't need to get lost either." With that, Aquamarine left, leaving Jasper and you alone.
A faint smile formed on Jasper's lips as she saw the annoyed expression on your face through the reflection in the window. You returned to your previous position, logging into the database and ignoring Jasper.
How cute, ignoring me. Jasper thought, putting the ship on autopilot and turning to face you. You were beautiful; all pearls were, specifically designed to be an accessory. To always look delicate and beautiful. But to Jasper, you were the most beautiful pearl she had ever seen; for some reason, she felt like she knew you before. Your face looked familiar, and it wasn't from some other pearl; she definitely knew you from somewhere else.
She took advantage of your mind being in the database and stood up; she walked over to you. Jasper stopped behind you and reached out, wanting to touch you but not quite able to. She very lightly touched your hair, silky and soft to the touch; it felt right between her fingers, it felt too familiar, like she'd done it a million times.
Jasper looked behind her, making sure Aquamarine wasn't watching, and seeing that the small gem was still doing something on the second floor, she leaned in a little, wanting to smell your hair. She closed her eyes and was about to inhale deeply when something hit the ship.
