It's 4 pm in Ginza, Tokyo. You were coming back from a long day of school, accompanied by Manjiro Sano, your best friend in every way that mattered, who offered to take you home on his motorbike.

"Today was really hard, Mikey." You tell him, your tired eyes fixed ahead. Mikey doesn't respond, but you know he's listening. He wouldn't say it, but you're important to him - which is why he tries not to get too attached, often ignoring or avoiding showing much affection. As you're returning home, you consider inviting Mikey over for cake and peach tea, but your thoughts are suddenly interrupted by your phone vibrating in your pocket. Your foster parents gave you the new cellphone for your birthday, and you'd immediately asked for all your friends' numbers. You usually get excited about calls, but something feels different this time.

"Oi, Mocchi! What's up?" You say with your usual cheerful voice. Calls from Kanji Mochizuki are rare, so you're genuinely surprised.

"Come quick. Something happened."

Mocchi's voice leaves no room for questions - there's an emergency, and you need to be there immediately.

"I'm coming. Where are you?"

As soon as you get Mocchi's location, you stop Mikey and hang up. You exchange a look of confusion and dread, but Mikey immediately understands. He turns the bike around and speeds toward the designated place. Your legs tremble as you hold tight to him, mind racing with increasingly terrible scenarios. When you finally arrive, you find yourself at an abandoned building that looks like an old orphanage. You immediately recognize it - this is where you grew up. But what emergency could bring you back here after all these years?
