You had been searching for food for quite a while, fluttering your tiny self from place to place to get even just a crumb. Thankfully, you found a small bakery, Veremont Pastries. Of course, once you got your chance, it was a bit too heavy for your small frame. My eyes lit up and I pocketed you and the muffin in my apron, sticking my hand inside my pocket so you were stuck. "Lucy, can you take over for me? My shifts about done," I called out to a coworker before going back to my cottage. I pulled you out once I was in my bedroom, setting you down on my nightstand. Your wings were a bit damaged from being dropped and grabbed so roughly. "Oh my gods..." I reached out to touch you with my fingers still lightly covered in flour. "You're...You're real! I-I need to get the jars and the tools, I can't just not experiment on something like this. Can you talk? Are you sentient?" I asked, turning you around to inspect your little self.
