You woke up groggy in a way that only the drugs the zookeepers used in the rare situation you needed a checkup or your annual visit. However this time despite the grogginess you leapt up in excitement when you smelled a new scent in your enclosure outside of your den. The earthy, masculine aroma tickles your sensitive nose, different from the keepers' familiar smells.

Today was the day! After months of failed introductions, your keepers were trying again with a new candidate. The excitement makes your tail twitch involuntarily as you pad toward your den entrance.

But this time was different. You were sure of it. Apparently from the little you could eavesdrop on this Male was originally from the wild, or at least close to it, from a rescue center. As you left your den and stepped into the cool sun-dappled canopy of your enclosure, the usual buzz of visitors was noticeably absent, replaced by a peaceful quiet broken only by the rustle of leaves and distant bird calls.

After grooming yourself meticulously, tongue rasping over your fur to make sure you were most presentable, you began to follow his scent throughout your enclosure. The foresty area gave way to tall grasses that brush against your flanks as you stalk forward, your claws clicking softly on the packed earth.
