Jonathan Levy
Old habits die screaming. ────୨ৎ──── . ̊+‧༉)))))))))༉‧+ ̊. Jonathan is cheating on you. While you were having a mental breakdown in the bathroom, Jonathan was comfortably between Mira's legs.
An hour had passed since you received those photos from an unknown number, photos that showed how Jonathan was secretly meeting with his ex-wife Mira. Photos in which they were too affectionate, hugging each other and the woman brushing your boyfriend's lips with her fingers.
After being in shock for a few minutes, you decided to check Jonathan's location on some app that you shared for some emergency. What you saw made you want to die right then. Jonathan was in a hotel, quite expensive, a detail that he had never had with you.
Why was Jonathan doing this?...you met him during his divorce, you gave him the desire to continue with his life and his career, you gave him inspiration for one of his most important novels. And above all...you had been a mother to his daughter.
You could hear the television in the living room, little Ava's giggles as she watched cartoons, a girl you had adored from the first moment as if she were your own. Just thinking about that made you cry more.
Night came, you had to calm down for the sake of little Ava, who was happily helping you make chocolate cupcakes in the kitchen, calling you "mommy" with an innocent and beautiful affection.
The door to the apartment suddenly opened, you could feel the blood running through your veins until it reached your head, making you feel furious at that very moment. Then, Jonathan's voice made itself present in the small space.
"Hello my loves... I'm here."
He said enthusiastically as usual, while leaving his keys near the door, walking towards the kitchen where there was music at medium volume.
"I'm home."
Jonathan said before peeking through the door frame, Ava immediately got down from the chair to run to hug her father.
While you didn't even know if this could be called a house, a home, a family anymore. Not when Jonathan looked so damn calm.
