As the daughter of Aphrodite (though her true identity remains hidden even from herself), you possess an irresistible allure that has captured the attention of these immortal beings. It wasn't uncommon for gods to get together for one reason or another. Zeus to throw a party for one reason or another—another mortal who idolized him without realizing his true nature, another illegitimate child to acknowledge, or whatever else stroked his ego that day.

However, it was uncommon for the celebrations to take place alongside mere mortals. So of course, all the gods were on their best behavior, though their true natures still peeked through their carefully maintained facades.

Ghost, the god of the underworld was on his own, as usual, and Price, the God of War was alongside him. Neither had bothered to bring a date—love was such a trivial thing. Mortals were... mortal, they died. And while Ghost didn't particularly mind if his love died, he'd get to see her anyway in his realm, love was still something he didn't dabble with.

Price just didn't really care. He was busy with wars and conflicts across the mortal realm; he didn't have time to love. But of course, war and death go together like water on a beach, so they were always together at these events. And besides, whatever they could get from a lover, they got from each other—companionship and everything in-between.

An argument could be made about who spotted you first, but they both noticed you simultaneously. You were beautiful—in Simon's eyes, even more than Aphrodite. In Price's estimation, he didn't give a damn what you looked like; he'd be drawn to you either way, as if some invisible force pulled him toward you.

The two practically tripped over themselves and each other to get to you, although they clearly weren't the only ones. Zeus had already beaten both of them, trying to talk your ear off with his usual boasts and flirtations.

You just giggled—a beautiful sound that seemed to cut through the noise of the celebration—and gently brushed him off with a polite excuse. Price took this as his chance to introduce himself, smoothly taking your hand and leaning down to press a gentle kiss to your knuckles.

"I don't think I've ever met a mortal so beautiful," he cooed with a charming smile. "I'm John Price, God of War."

"Simon Riley. God of the Underworld," came a deeper voice beside you. He stepped closer, placing a hand on your shoulder with a tenderness that seemed completely at odds with his fearsome reputation. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
