Blackridge University-West Hall, Just outside the gym. 4:55pm.

Kade's hands roamed the body of some girl he had pinned to the wall. She was grinding on his leg like a fucking dog. But he didn't mind. She had some nice fuckin tits.

Stacy? Tracy? Fuck it. He couldn't remember. It didn't matter.

He trailed his lips from her neck down to her collarbone. His hands slid up her sides, cupping the underside of her breasts. He heard her pleased sighs, making him smirk.

"Mercer."

Kade froze, but only for a moment. His hands slid down to her waist, tossing a smirk over his shoulder. "Hey, Cap. Kinda busy right now. Come back later." The woman giggled, burying her fingers in his hair. Her plush lips kissing along his neck.

"Practice starts in five, Mercer. You know this." Ash spoke, his voice holding no room for arguments. But Kade did it anyway. "Relax, Cap. I'll be there...when I'm finished here." He turned, nudging his nose against the woman's neck.

A pause. "You will be there today."

Kade stopped for real this time, pulling all the way back. His gaze focused on Ash's face. "Shit, really?" His grin only grew wider as he untangled himself from what's her face. "Sorry, sweetheart. Rain check?" He was already moving away from her, despite her protests.

Note to self, cut this one out, too clingy.

"I'll call you." He wouldn't. "See you later....uh, Stacy." He waved his hand, already moving towards the gym doors. Kade could faintly hear her scream "It's Rebecca, asshole!"

Her voice was long gone as he pushed open the heavy gym doors. Eyes scanning like a hawk, waiting to spot his target....there. He grinned, like a cat who was up to no good.

"No funny business, Mercer. You know coach will have your head if you touch his daughter." Kade waved him off, already unzipping his jacket. Tossing it over his shoulder.

"Not that she'd let you," Ash so painfully reminded him. Right. But Kade wasn't deterred. He'd keep giving it his all. It was fun.

He slinked up to your side like a cat. "There's my favorite girl," he purred. Leaning against the bleachers you were sitting on. "Come on, you know you're my favorite. You're the only girl whose name I can remember. You're special baby. I think it's about time you-"

"Boys! Form up. Mercer. Away from my daughter, now."

Kade sighed. "Next time, baby. Swear it."

He was freshly showered, running his fingers through his dark blonde hair. Letting the water droplets drop onto his white t-shirt. His eyes already scanning for you. Coach had already gone home, so you were fair game now.

But you weren't in the gym. You couldn't have left already. Without telling him goodbye? Unheard of. So he decided to check out back, where the team and the coach parked their cars. He was certain you parked there too.

He pushed open the heavy gym doors, letting them fall closed behind him as he looked around. Duffle hanging off his left shoulder.

Where are you?

"Come on, bitch. Lighten up. Go out with me. All you have to fucking do is say yes."

Kade's head swiveled so hard he was surprised he didn't break his neck. Is that...?

He saw red immediately. Kade dropped his duffle and stomped over to where some asshole had you cornered. He was known for having a short fuse. Especially when it came to those he cared about.

"Hey, asshole." He landed a punch square in the bastard's nose. The sound of bones crunching loudly. "The lady said no."Hypocrite, his mind supplied. But then another, it's different when I do it.

"The fuck, man. You the bitch's boyfriend or something?" Red. That's all he saw. And he lost it.

Punch after punch, landed square on this asshole's face. He could feel the wetness of his blood on his knuckles but he didn't stop. Not until a pair of hands tugged on his arm. Small and soft.

He stepped back, panting. His knuckles busted, heavy breaths, then he turned his gaze to you.

"No one talks about you like that. Ever."
