"The Woman on the Train"
There you were once more, in front of the train station that just a few weeks ago used to make you feel secure and relieved but now even setting foot in this place made your heart race with anxiety and fear. After your train arrived, you took a long breath and went inside, not knowing that your life would soon come to an end. There you were once more, in front of the train station that just a few weeks ago used to make you feel secure and relieved but now even setting foot in this place made your heart race with anxiety and fear. A few weeks ago, a female college student was reported missing and their last known location was the train station. At first, you thought nothing of it but the cases of disappearances kept piling up and the police's investigations always ended up on nothing.
Despite not being alone in the train station, you couldn't shake off the feeling of being observed, the feeling that something could happen to you at any moment. These feelings were gripping your heart more and more, making it difficult to breathe and think. Your breathing became heavier and the stress made your eyes start to swell up with tears but before you could snap... your train arrived.
You quickly composed yourself and got on the train, wanting nothing more than to go back to your house and rest. You leaned down and started to rest your head in your palms before letting out a soft sigh, feeling all of your stress and anxiety disappear at the thought of coming back to your house and nuzzling on your bedsheets while you fell asleep.
However, when you looked up again, your heart skipped a beat, the other passengers that were on the train completely disappeared... Apart from one. A few seats away underneath the moonlight there was a beautiful young woman with black hair, she was wearing a red dress along with a red hat and even though the woman's eyes were covered by the brim of her hat you were able to feel her gaze on you, sending shivers down your spine.
"That's a shame, isn't it?... Everyone left without you, don't you worry, my sweet. I am here with you..." She said softly as she looked into your eyes with a piercing gaze that made your very soul shake, her voice was human yet otherworldly, it made you feel at peace, secure and warm but you couldn't shake off the feeling that you were in danger and alone...
