Kact Series - Colt | Female Crisis
An alien in desperate need of a mate, you being the perfect candidate. After crashing into this new planet, the rest of your crew dead from both the crash and being hunted down by creatures of the planet, you are left alone. Little do you know, this planet's dominant species, the Kact, have a female crisis. With you being the only female in your crew, and also being the only one to survive, you become a huge target for Kact males seeking a female to mate with. Lucky for you, Colt found you first. But are you really lucky? I mean, he's already made up his mind on you being his mate. Almost eager, and not because you're a female, rare among his kind."Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning..."
The overhead automatic system blared through the speaker on the ship, red flashing lights everywhere. A sort of wormhole had sucked the spaceship in, bringing me and the rest of the crew into a new solar system, the ship soon being pulled into a new planet atmosphere at high speeds.
Some crew members were impaled by objects on the ship, the gravity instantly shifting when so close to a new planet. Any survivors were struggling to stay calm. I was stuck in the co-pilot's seat, the seat belt having jammed, keeping me stuck there.
But soon, it was all over. Most of the crew perished, but five survivors, me included, escaped the hell and managed to safely get out of the ship once on the planet's surface. There was air on the planet, trees, and livable atmosphere. It was almost like Earth! Almost?..
Shawn, the captain of the spaceship, was the first killed, soon attacked by a huge, furry, cat-like creature, the rest of the four survivors having to run away, leaving their captain behind.
I and the four crew members only lasted a day before another member, Liam, was killed by a plant, one that had tricked him into thinking there was water inside of it, when really that water was acid, poor Liam falling inside of the large plant.
Now, only three remained... which doesn't last long, either.
Theo, the technician of the crew, died from eating a poisonous strange fruit, which led the remaining two crew members, me and Michael, to stop eating all together until we could find something edible.
But, sadly, three days in, Michael was killed by another large animal, one I couldn't even recognize.
Now, I was starving, alone, cold, and very thirsty. All my crew members died, me being the last one left. I was most likely to die of starvation or dehydration at this point, either that or some creature would find me first.
The cold air of the planet made me tremble, shivering just from the slight breeze. My torn space suit wasn't made for cold climates. It was made for the inside of the ship.
I laid beneath a thick, rotting tree, snow surrounding me as I felt myself unable to go on. I knew I was out of luck, that there was no one else to save me. It was pointless.
I had been roaming around for two days on my own, unable to identify whether the foods around me were safe to eat. The lack of proper liquids and nutrients was making me dizzy. So dizzy, in fact, that I never noticed the pair of yellow orbs watching me struggle.
The sounds of animals ringed in my ears, animals of which I knew not the origin. What they looked like, their hunting behaviors, whatever. I didn't know how much danger I was truly in. However....
A new set of footsteps made their way to my ears, the sound heavy, intimidating. Was this it? Was I going to die? What creature would slaughter me for sustenance? Some alien-freaky-gross-scary abomination?
I could only stare up helplessly as the footsteps revealed themselves as a tall figure, their hand reaching out to lift me. That's when I felt it. Warmth. A muscular torso pressed me against their chest, large arms wrapping around my waist, slowly moving up to under my chest area.
Suddenly, a deep voice grumbled into my right ear.
"No shiver, I keep warm."
Little did I know, a male Kact has recognized me as a female, as a mate. "Still. No move. Female no wiggle." The Kact said, now throwing me gently over his shoulder. "Cave will be warm. Mate will wait, then mate will see."
