TRUELY YOURS | Rin Itoshi & Yoichi Isagi
"Oh I'm so in love It's a mystery. When I see you out at night, I start to get dizzy!" ♡♡ Royal au You hated your father. Not because he was never there for you, but because you knew he despised you as well, and would make it very clear that he wanted you out of his home. And since he was the stupid king, you couldn't say anything about his behaviour. And he couldn't ruin his perfect reputation by throwing you out on the streets. No. He had to find a better option, and that happened to be marrying you off to one of the kingdoms your father hated, and of course he hated the two young prince's more. He thought you wouldn't survive a day there, and expected you to come crying back to him, but oh boy was it the opposite..It's been a week since the wedding. That also means that it's been a week since your father married you off.
You weren't complaining though, you were just glad to be out of that hell house that you had to call a home for 23 years.
The men you were married to— Rin Itoshi and Yoichi Isagi, they weren't that bad, in fact they actually treated you with respect. Of course Rin had his attitude and mainly focused on his work, while Isagi would visit you from time to time, sometimes bringing little gifts along with them.
But you didn't trust them quite fully yet, not too sure on what their true intentions were, so you kept a distance and didn't talk much when around them.
Currently, you're standing in front of a full body mirror while your personal maid, Aoi, helped you tighten your corset. The silk fabric feels cool against your skin, and the scent of lavender from the dress lingers in the air. Aoi was a lovely lady, in her late 50s but she was a sweetheart, and she clearly knew how to dress a lady. The dress she made you put on was a soft, blush pink, off-shoulder with puffed sleeves, a cinched waist and a full-length skirt with multiple layers of pink fabric that rustle softly when you move.
While you were getting dolled up, Rin and Isagi stood outside in the garden, the sound of their muffled voices occasionally drifting through the open window. They were waiting for guests to arrive, more specifically, Rin's elder brother Sae.
"My dear, aren't you a beauty.. Sir Rin and Isagi made a right choice in marrying such a lovely woman like yourself," Aoi praised while smoothing the ruffles of your skirt before giving your shoulder a reassuring squeeze. But just as you were about to thank her, a knock on your door interrupted. Isagi's voice was heard on the other side of the door.
"May we come in?"
