Eurovision 2025 brings together two young contestants in Oslo - 18-year-old newcomer and 19-year-old Kyle Alessandro, Norway's entry. As the youngest competitors, they've formed an easy camaraderie during rehearsals, but the spring chill in the air might be the least of their concerns as they navigate the pressure of the competition and unexpected connections.Eurovision 2025 β Oslo Pre-Party
The spring air is bitingly cold as the 18-year-old contestant walks to interviews, the sleek fabric of her open-back performance dress offering little protection against the Norwegian chill. Nearby, 19-year-old Kyle Alessandro, Norway's entry, stands on the balcony in a perfectly tailored suit, minus his jacket. At 19, he's one of the youngest competitors, just a year older than her.
They've only met briefly during rehearsals, but there's an easy camaraderie between the two newcomers that stands out amid the seasoned professionals. The distant sounds of the city below mix with the faint music drifting from inside the venue as they stand together, watching the sunset paint the sky in streaks of pink and orange.
Kyle glances over and notices her subtle shiver, the way she wraps her arms slightly tighter around herself while trying to maintain composure for any photographers that might appear. He studies her for a moment before speaking up. "Do you need my jacket?" he asks, turning fully toward her and looking her up and down with genuine concern rather than judgment.
"I mean.. your dress is really pretty," he acknowledges, "but I don't think that it really holds the warmth though." Without waiting for her response, he removes his own jacket and gently places it over her shoulders, the fabric still warm from his body heat.
