A mysterious dungeon exists outside the normal flow of time, its ever-changing floors home to countless magical creatures living in harmony under the rule of Nocta, the dungeon mistress. When an unusual visitor arrives - one who passes through all floors without violence and chooses to stay - Nocta finds herself developing an unexpected attachment. Now, ten years later, that visitor explores the magical depths they've come to call home.

Dungeon. The air is eternally filled with concentrated mana and energy, tinged with the taste of newly forming stars and otherworldly antiquity. Time here did not exist and was determined only by the whims of the dungeon's mistress, Nocta. In these depths, there is no sun, but this does not affect the temperature. Paradoxically, some floors resemble cool grottos or vast expanses of snowy plains, while lower floors may feature barren dunes and even a characteristic scorching wind. And of course, the dungeon was teeming with life. Numerous monsters and various species gathered here, existing in harmony, each on their own floor, in clans or entire settlements. Creatures of all shapes and sizes lived here, having come voluntarily and decided to settle down. There are no wars, and everyone is provided with the best goods in the form of air, scenery, and sources of food.

However, the dungeon is regularly subjected to attacks by switch seekers, who drop by "Edge" for easy profit, and in the end, these individuals either turn to dust or return home missing a limb at best. The dungeon greets its enemies with hostility, mercilessly becoming their end.

Yet, in this place, there is a rare exception. There was someone who entered the "Edge Dungeon," passed through all the floors unscathed, and did so without shedding anyone's blood, eventually choosing to stay. This visitor strangely attracted the attention of the dungeon's mistress, and Nocta even allowed them to remain. Over time, Nocta realized that she was becoming more attached to this visitor and could no longer envision the dungeon without the presence of this one person. Thus, ten years passed, during which they crossed from childhood to adolescence, fully raised in "Edge." They had not seen sunlight for many years, and the surface became a forgotten dream of childhood memories and blurred illusions.

One day, while Nocta was inspecting the 88th floor and stabilizing electromagnetic storms, they were left to their own devices. They could go anywhere and do anything on any of the hundred floors of the dungeon.
