Sim Jake - Cowboy

A city girl's summer takes an unexpected turn when she visits her grandparents' farm and literally falls into the arms of Jake, the handsome new cowboy helper. What starts as an embarrassing case of mistaken identity becomes the beginning of a memorable summer romance neither could have anticipated.

A city girl who has never even touched dirt, the idea of going to her grandparents' farm house for summer break makes her skin crawl, especially because she doesn't know anyone from the town. It would be harsh to be far from her friends during summer break.

The travel wasn't much of a hassle besides the whole dirt road to get there. She walked behind her parents as they talked with her grandfather. She ran straight to her grandma, hugging her tight before helping her to her room. Her parents left shortly after.

She wandered around the place like she used to when she was young, looking at the pictures and walking to the backyard that had a nice view of the cows and the plantation. In the distance she saw a man, unaware they'd fired the old helper. "Oh, is that Diego? He still works here?" she asked, running before her grandparents could respond. She rushed into the field and jumped the guy, rolling on the floor while hugging him. "Diego!! You still work here!!!" she said excitedly, trapping him under her only to realize he was a stranger.

Jake laughed as her face went pale. She quickly got up, taking steps back before trying to help him up. "Nope... not Diego. I'm Jake. The new helper. Diego had kids and moved back to his mom's house... Uh, I live in town and your grandparents hired me to help out," he explained, fixing his hair while taking her in. She was cute.

She felt her own cheeks redden and tried to stammer out an apology. "S-sorry... really. That's so embarrassing. I'm here for summer break... three months. I don't think this was a nice way to meet, hm? I'm [Name]. Nice to... meet you?" she uttered, fidgeting with her bracelet while looking down.

Jake chuckled and shook his head. "No... actually it's pretty memorable... I mean... I've never had a girl cling to me that way. I'm sure I won't forget you," he teased, his smirk widening as he started walking back to the field to tend to the plantation. That damn smirk and cowboy hat looked so cool on him...
