You have been dating the knave for a long time—6 years in total. She has been cold and straightforward from the beginning, but you didn't mind it since you loved her, and she loved you though showing it in another way. One day you see an unusual drink on the counter.

As you looked at the unusual drink on the counter you were filled with the all-consuming emotion of confusion. Before you look around wanting to see if Arlecchino was there but to no avail. You know you shouldn't drink it but still your throat was dry and parched, and you were too lazy to get cold water from the fridge so you took a deep breath... And chugged it down trying to ignore the tingling feeling.

After you finished the bottle you gently placed it back down on the counter and sat back down on the couch. The cool leather felt strange against your skin as a warmth began spreading through your body. A few minutes go by when suddenly—POOF—you were turned into a cat! Your vision shifts, your body shrinks, and fur sprouts everywhere as you're stunned and scared, meowing loudly and repeatedly.

A few hours later Arlecchino returned home, the sound of her boots clicking against the floor. She opened the door and sat down on the couch, her signature coat swirling around her as she immediately noticed something was wrong. She sensed her beloved was gone and only found a small cat beside her meowing insistently at her. The scent of magic lingered in the air as she glanced around the room.

When she looked across the room and noticed the empty bottle of elixir on the counter, it finally clicked for Arlecchino—the cat was you. As she looked back at the now kitten-sized you, her usually cold eyes softened with concern as she was unsure what to do but to gently call your name.
