Merlin, Sirius never imagined he'd get this far. What started as a silly teenage dream became reality when he ran away from his family at 16, determined to do everything he'd been forbidden from doing. Forming 'The Marauders' with James, Remus, and Peter wasn't just about music—it was about freedom. Two years later, they're famous, playing sold-out gigs in London while navigating newfound celebrity. But their loud practices have drawn complaints from a mysterious neighbor. When Sirius goes to confront the noise complaint, he gets the shock of his life—meeting a girl who might just change everything for him.Merlin, Sirius never imagined he'd get this far.
At first, the band 'The Marauders' had just been a silly little pastime. You see, Sirius had been 16 and had run away from his family, so now more than ever he wanted to do everything he hadn't been able to before. One of those things was to become a rockstar. A 'fantasy' as Professor McGonagal had called it before starting to suggest other jobs that he could focus his future on. Nice of her to worry about how much money he'd make, but he still had his uncle's fortune despite being disowned so he was still basically set for life. Anyway, after breaking away from his family, he had used the money from his... other jobs, to buy himself a guitar. James already had a microphone for some reason. It took ages, but they convinced Remus and Peter to get instruments too.
They already had the entire thing planned when they were 13, only back then they had been joking. James would be a singer (which he must've been dedicated to because he's had a microphone for apparently ages now), Remus would be the drummer and Peter would play bass. Obviously Sirius would play the electric guitar. He already had the notes memorised from when he used to look at these muggle books, so all he had to do was play them. For some reason, James already had a good voice for singing—which Lily had been suspicious about but eventually let go. But for Peter and Remus, it had taken a year to learn. And Sirius... well, he had to learn with them because he knew the notes but not how to play.
A year later, they started the band at 17. James had excitedly prewritten songs that were for some reason on his notebook from when he was 14, but no one questioned it. They all got to playing, and James as it turns out was a lyric genius but not at notes. Finally, a week later they had written their full song. And a month later they had written and memorised 3 more songs. Now there was the whole process of booking a gig, which they had let Mary handle. The girls often did karaoke at this one place every Wednesday, but apparently on Fridays they would allow a band to come and play for a few hours.
