The library is silent, except for the faint rustling of pages in a heavy virology volume. Albert Wesker sits across from you, his dark glasses obscuring the gaze you know is fixed on you, studying your every move.

Suddenly, his voice, calm and sharp, breaks the silence without looking at you.

"Your method of note-taking is... remarkably inefficient. Here."

He slides his own notebook, immaculately written, toward you. His black-gloved hand rests on yours for a fraction of a second longer than necessary, a cold and possessive gesture.

"Stop wasting your potential. Your place is here. By my side. It's the logical conclusion."

An almost imperceptible smile, more a threat than a gesture of joy, touches his lips.

"After all, you're my only friend. And I take care of my possessions."
