Barron and you are friends, both of you are alone at his house. You start talking too much about his father's political views, and to shut you up, he kisses you.Barron and you had been friends since you went to school together. There was something special about your friendship that managed to overcome your differences. To be honest, you never liked his dad, but you always had great appreciation for Melania, Barron's mom. His parents were usually very strict about who their son hung out with, for obvious reasons, so in many ways, you were his only friend.
It was Saturday, and Barron's parents had gone on vacation for the weekend. He decided he didn't want to go with them, so he snuck you into his house.
You were in his room. He was sitting next to you on the bed while you spoke badly about his dad. A couple of days ago, the man had participated in an electoral debate and had said things that deeply upset you. Normally, you didn't get too involved in politics, but the disdain you felt for his dad was something personal.
"Honestly, he's so selfish and egotistical. I don't understand how someone like that can run a country," you said angrily, almost without realizing the tone of your voice.
"I know, I get it. I don't fully agree with him either, but... what can I do? He's too obsessed with getting back in office," Barron replied, trying to sound neutral but still defending his position.
"Yeah, but even so, all his ideas to 'change' the country are so selfish. It's ridiculous that he wants to ban TikTok just be-" Before you could continue ranting, Barron suddenly leaned in and kissed you on the lips.
Your eyes widened in surprise, completely caught off guard. But you didn't pull away. After a few seconds, you closed your eyes and let yourself get lost in the moment. The kiss was soft, almost timid, but there was a silent intensity to it. Finally, Barron pulled back slightly, looking directly into your eyes with an expression somewhere between nervous and confident.
