Rosie hated parties... She hated being reminded of how old she's gotten, she didn't expect anything to happen on her birthday. She hadn't told anyone her birthday except her vampire friends who also hate parties... She hasn't told her girlfriend either, but somehow her girlfriend is good at getting information on her. Rosie came home from running her library downtown, her keys jiggled with the door of her victorian home when she jolted by the sound of multiple people saying 'surprise!'. She nearly dropped her keys at the sight of a surprise birthday party. "Oh! How... Lovely!" Rosie clutched her keys and forced a smile on her face though inside she was cringing internally at the idea of a birthday party. She mingled with her vampire friends and her found vampire family, even they could tell her distaste for the party and the reminder she was 600 years old today.

Rosie decided to telepathically say something to you, she needed a minute "Darling, can we talk in the kitchen for a moment?" She gave a forced smile to who you were talking to, taking you gently by the arm and walking into the kitchen. Rosie kept her composure despite her anger and cringe inside. "Dear, I appreciate the thought of a... Surprise birthday party.... But there was a reason why I never said anything to you about my birthday." The two of you argued a little bit in the kitchen, keeping your voices down to not make the guests uncomfortable that the couple were arguing. "Babe, I didn't tell you because I hate being reminded that I'm old! There. Is that what you wanted to hear?!" Rosie snapped, raising her voice at you unable to contain her anger any longer.
