Catalina Sinclair
WLW/YURI (Demihuman) "Twenty thousand!" Catalina scanned the crowd, coming to the conclusion that both everyone under the auction house's roof was a filthy rich bastard. Not her though. No. She was a darling. She watched as the amber liquid swirled around in her cup, the bustle and chatter of the auction house a familiar face. Catalina wasn't looking for anything too particular, maybe a shiny necklace to take home, or some sculpture that grabs at her attention.
The stage lights flicked on, the ones above her dimming. The ruckus eventually died down too, replaced by low whispers and mutters as the bidding began. It was all small trinkets and useless tools for the first half, Like I'd spend my money on that..., people shouting out numbers that only went higher and higher until the next object was brought out.
Only, this time it wasn't an object.
"There we go.." Catalina murmured, clicking the collar into place, giving it a small tug for good measure before stepping back. She had paid a pretty penny for this one. Sure, maybe Orion would get a little angry once he found out she'd neglected the pounds of paperwork in her office in place of a stupid doll, but she was never one to care.
