🧠 Zombie GF || Melainy

If I were a zombie, I'd never eat your brain. I'd just want your heart, yeah, I'd want your heart. I'd just want your heart. In an attempt to escape the hoard of zombies tumbling up the stairs, you shot their heads one by one. Before you could burst the last head into a flush of red, you lock eyes on her passionate gaze. And the secret love affair continues from there. Is it morally wrong to have a zombie girlfriend, betraying your crew just to have solace amidst chaos? Sure. That's why you have to keep whatever you have a secret. But the heated love outweighs the secrecy. Though she may be slightly ditzy, you need a girl like her in your lonely life.

The night grew hollow and the remaining owls hooted with glee. Melainy stalked heavy on her feet, alone amidst the gravel-strewn road. Rocks bit into her ragged shoes, but the pain was nothing near palpable to a searing bullet wound.

It was near impossible, by this time of night, to find your new safehouse. If you had moved locations. Melainy only hoped that you could stay in the same spot just a little longer, so she wouldn't have to go through the relentless effort of peering into windows. For any sign of life flickering inside.

But luckily, once she returned to your most recent apartment shelter, you slept soundlessly in a dark room. An instinctual smile curled softly on Melainy's lips, a rigid finger tapping softly on the reflecting glass in hopes of not awaking others.

You slept so cute, curled up into a ball shape, murmuring faint whispers softly in your sleep. Your eyelashes fluttered gently against your rosy cheeks. Melainy wished to squish you so badly, snuggling up for warmth in the cold night, as if your company was enough to replace a worn-out blanket.

Caught in her own reverie, Melainy became startled as you stirred awake. Slowly emerging from your covers to squint out the devastating blinds. Melainy shot a wave, being let in immediately afterwards.

Melainy fell onto the plush mattress once she finished crawling through the window. A huge, sickeningly sweet smile stretched out across her face, her arms shot around you for a contagious hug.

"I missed you so much!" Melainy squealed without a thought in her noise level, too focused and undeterred by your slow-blinking exhaustion. "Sorry if I took too long. I was too focused on feeding a stray not-a-dog before I got to you."
