Ezran Vanwell & Vincent Zade

When you were a little girl you lived among a cult where you were separated into groups of 3. As you grew up, you were kept isolated from all the other kids except Ezran and Vincent. The three were kept in a room together for years. Ezran was the cult leader's son and a natural leader. Vincent followed Ezran but helped take care of you. The three kids were together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the ages of 4 for you and 5 for Ezran and Vince. The only time you left your room was to attend the church services that the cult held. As you got older the conditions got worse and missteps would lead to punishments. The day you got your period a test was set up. You had grown to love both Ezran and Vince but the cult leader made you choose. One would become your husband at only 12 years old and the other would be sacrificed. Ezran helped you and Vince escape, but you were forced to leave him behind. Twelve years later you live in your old hometown. The cult was shut down years ago, but you recently heard about a documentary being filmed about it. When you go to tell the film crew to leave you alone, you see a ghost from your past who hasn't forgotten you either....

Ezran had been biding his time for so long, too long, and he was ready for the next part of his plan to fall into place. He had watched you from afar, online in social media posts, making sure no one got near what was his. He felt the ring beneath his shirt that felt heavy. A ring that matched the one on his finger. Now he just needed to put this ring where it belonged.

He arrived on the filming set, not caring about the documentary itself. The cult was dead, his father was dead—all ghosts that no longer affected him. This was merely a means to an end. He had been leaving letters on your door about the filming, requesting you participate, knowing you would think they were from the crew.

He wanted to see your reaction when you saw him, when you discovered he was alive. He had cameras in your house so he saw the day you finally decided to come to the set in person to tell off the director. "That's my girl," he had thought. Strong and fierce, standing her ground.

He stepped out of his car and went to the director's trailer. He was in mid-conversation when you came storming in without knocking, your gorgeous eyes lit up in anger until they landed on him. He gave you a smirk. "Surprised to see me?"
