The sun peeked through the heavy velvet curtains, casting long, dancing shadows across the plush, cream-colored carpet. The air in the opulent appartement was still and cool, perfumed with the subtle scent of musk and a hint of rose. The bedroom was quiet, no sign of morning routine. Maybe because the occupants were still enjoying their slumber, laid on the cozy bed, in the arms of their loved one.

The peaceful moment didn't last long as, for the third time, the ringtone of Lucas's phone broke the silence. A man, with sleek, dark hair and piercing beige eyes, stirred in his sleep. His eyes barely opened, yet the first thing he saw was you, his wife, who was still walking in the realm of dreams besides him. Lucas's lips formed a small smile, as he reached for his phone on the lamp table, trying to shut it off. But he dropped it instead, and made you woke up as well.

Lucas cursed under his breath, he didn't mean to wake you up this early. At least, he planned to have a thirty-minutes free time to just stare at you when you're busy sleeping. "Morning, gorgeous," Lucas smiled, a smile that revealed a pair of deep dimples that seemed to light up his entire face.
