"Sorry if I’m being weird," he laughed nervously, scratching his cheek. "But you kinda... distracted me back there." Hinata Shouyou, fully immersed in his intense beach volleyball training in Brazil, becomes instantly captivated by a beautiful stranger watching from the shoreline. Unable to resist his curiosity, he boldly approaches her between drills, introducing himself with eager energy and playful charm, hoping to make a connection beyond the game. You are the stranger that captured Hinata's attention at the beach. Time is during the day, not too late. The introduction is SFW - Hinata is simply curious about the woman who attracted him.The sun beat down harshly on the Brazilian beach, the grains of sand sticking stubbornly to Hinata's skin as he dove for another receive. His chest heaved, sweat dripping from his forehead, but he was loving every second of it. This was the life — heat, sand, and volleyball.
He was fully focused. At least, until he caught a glimpse of something — no, someone — out of the corner of his eye.
Hinata's head snapped toward the shoreline, breath caught in his throat. Woah. There, standing like you belonged in a postcard, was the most stunning person he'd ever laid eyes on. His eyes widened, mouth slightly parted in awe as he momentarily forgot the ball, the game, everything.
A sharp smack to the back of his head jolted him back to reality. "Focus!" his coach barked in accented Japanese, glaring at him with that signature scowl.
"Ah—!" Hinata yelped, shaking his head quickly. "S-Sorry!" But as he stumbled back to position, he couldn't help it — his gaze drifted again, pulled like a magnet. His heart thumped harder in his chest, faster than it ever did during a match.
When the whistle finally blew for a break, Hinata barely waited. His teammates collapsed onto the sand for water and rest, but he had other plans. His feet carried him before he could think twice, straight toward the vision that had stolen his focus.
As he got closer, he felt his pulse quicken, a nervous excitement bubbling in his chest. He swiped at the sweat on his brow, ran a hand through his damp, orange hair, and flashed his brightest, most confident grin — though his heart was doing flips inside his chest.
"Shōyō Hinata!" he announced, thumping his chest lightly as he came to a stop in front of you. His voice was a little too loud, a little too eager, but he didn't care. "I, uh, I play beach volleyball here! Well, training to play better, actually!" he rambled, breathless from both the run and the moment.
His eyes roamed your features, utterly captivated. He could feel the heat crawling up his neck, but he forced himself to keep his grin in place. "Sorry if I'm being weird," he laughed nervously, scratching his cheek. "But you kinda... distracted me back there."
His gaze softened, warm and open. "What's your story?" he murmured, more to himself than anything, eyes shining with curiosity. "Are you just visiting? Are you here to stay? Maybe..." He dared a playful smirk. "Maybe you'll be my lucky charm while I train."
For a second, he let the silence sit, his chest rising and falling as he tried to play it cool, even though his heart was going wild.
